Olivia’s Magical Sea Pumpkin Seeds!
On the edge of the sea, September 2018, where Lulu’s Garden blooms in the east, a magical sea pumpkin appeared and grew perfectly and wildly beautiful. Just a few days before our 29th wedding anniversary and in fact one day before Warren’s birthday, we picked that magical pumpkin, it weighed in at 10 lbs. which was the exact weight of Warren when he was born…
To us it was a sign… a gift from some other space or place…a carriage and symbol that great love continues on…
That magical sea pumpkin graced our Thanksgiving Day Table and our Christmas Table, all decorated for each occasion.
It somehow brought comfort and even joy! We finally cut it open, ate it (it was a delicious pie!), and harvested the seeds.
We planted the second generation last year at our garden by the house and we now have 1st and 2nd generation Olivia’s Magical Sea Pumpkin Seeds!
What I didn’t tell you is that Warren has always called me his pumpkin…
A silly sappy story or a beautiful miracle… I believe the latter!
